Known issues

Audio files don't play on some MP3 players.

When recording audio, make sure that the quality settings for sampling rate and compression (bits per sample) are consistent. For example, if you combine high-quality compression (a bit rate of 16) with a low-quality sampling rate (8 kHz), or vice versa, the resulting audio file may not play on some MP3 players.

Working with multiple tracks in Audio Tag Editor

You can use the MusicID feature of Audio Tag Editor to identify more than one track at a time. If you want to use the MusicID tags for some of the tracks, but not for all of them, follow these steps:

  1. On the left side of the Audio Tag Editor window, select only the track(s) for which you want to use MusicID tags.
  2. Click MusicID.

Tip: To use the original tags for any of the identified tracks, select the tracks and then click Reset or uncheck Use MusicID tags.

  3. Click Done to close the Audio Tag Editor.
