Applying Pan & Zoom effects to photos reduces image quality. Applying Pan & Zoom effects to photos may result in a slight reduction in image quality, if the images are output to a video file or DVD (as this results in slightly higher compression). If you are saving a slideshow as a video file or DVD, and photo clarity is your highest concern, then either uncheck the Pan & Zoom box in the Slideshow Assistant, or choose a Transition Style that does not use Pan & Zoom.
